Willie experienced a life-changing education experience for the first time through a scholarship for his postgraduate study in Warwick Business School, in the UK. The opportunity inspired him to appreciate cultural differences and international networking, both of which are beneficial to his life and his career in regional advertising, marketing and business development in various global advertising agencies and multinational business corporations, including Leo Burnett, Bayer MaterialScience and Avery Dennison. His first connection to UWC was through his wife, who is an alumna of Pearson College UWC. Her understanding of people from all nationalities and caring personality has been positively transforming Willie and other members of their family. Willie joined Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong in 2015. He has been supporting potential and current students and helping them to succeed at LPCUWC through active scholarship fundraising from various channels including corporations, foundations and alumni. Willie is currently supervising students on two Quan Cai activities: the college’s magazine Synergy and Alumni Connect which engages LPCUWC alumni through alumni database management and College-alumni activities.
